At Close Brothers we run an exciting Future Leaders programme, a four day event for young professionals and students which we ran last week. The aim of the course is to increase their awareness of the importance of pursing their interests in order to succeed, as well as helping to improve their entrepreneurial instincts. Throughout the course, a variety of speakers from different and sometimes alternative corners of the work arena came into talk. Sandy Loder, CEO of Peak Dynamics, who helps run the course, also worked to analyse and progress their behavioural performances in the work place.
At the end of the week, we hosted a gala dinner where the participants teamed up and were given the opportunity to pitch their business ideas to a carefully selected team of 'Dragons' and 120 guests. They worked on these throughout the duration of the programme and the ideas were incredibly strong this year. A huge congratulations must go to the winning team ‘Have you Herd’.
Close Brothers runs this course on an annual basis and you can find out more here.
While the Tory Party leadership battle continued this week, we took shelter to run our own Future Leaders programme - a very busy four day event where 40 aspiring young students and professionals developed their inner entrepreneur, learned to understand their weaknesses and strengths better and create the right mindset to overcome barriers to performance.
