Employers go to great lengths to arrange and offer their people great benefits packages. Sometime a lack of engagement is due to a lack of awareness and poor understanding of how to use the benefits on offer to improve lifestyle and financial wellbeing.
Financial education programmes can help with this and can increase engagement with all benefits as well as improving financial wellbeing.
Less than a quarter (24%) of respondents are happy with their workplace benefits package, according to research by health and wellbeing provider Benenden. Its survey of 2,000 employees also found that 28% of respondents believe a good benefits offering increases their loyalty to their employer.
